[Approvals](https://knowledge.balancedcomp.com/balancedresults?hsLang=en#approvals) # Approval Requirement Exceptions ## What if it's impossible to meet the system's approval requirements? - Only Company Administrators can access the "Admin Actions" button on the Initial or Final Approvals page and complete the steps outlined in this article. BalancedResults allows you to [customize the following approval requirements:](https://knowledge.balancedcomp.com/customizing-your-approval-requirements-and-default-approvers?hsLang=en) 1. How many supervisors should approve this plan: 0, 1, or 2? 2. Should there be a default approver that approves them all? The system applies your approval requirements across the board; there are no exceptions. However, we recognize that some employees, like your executives, may be so high in the organization that they don't have enough supervisors to meet the approval requirements. In this case, we've added an Admin Actions option for you, the system's company administrator, to force-start the approval queue. Go to the appropriate **Approvals** Page. 1. If you want to submit the plan for initial approval, click **Initial Approvals** in the subnav. 2. If you want to submit the plan for final approval, click **Final Approvals** in the subnav. 2. Click on the blue **Admin Actions** button in the top right-hand corner of the Approval Queue. 3. Select **Force Start Queue** from the dropdown menu. 1. If you want to *completely* bypass the approval process, company admins can completely skip the approval process by selecting "Override to Ready for Final Review" from the dropdown menu. This will start the approval queue and email the first approver, even if the plan doesn't meet your system's approval requirements.  If you don't see the dropdown menu options outlined above, check the orange box at the top of the page.
