Creating a New Employee

Fortunately, doing so is relatively easy!

(Even if you aren't using the importer, which would take care of it for you cough-use-the-importer-cough)

  1. Navigate to your list of all employees.
  2. Click the green "Actions" button and select "Add Employee" from the dropdown
  3. Enter your new employee's information. If a field is mandatory, it will have a * to the left.

Wages

In the "Wage Details" section, in your "Wages" field

  • if the employee is paid by the hour, you will enter their hourly wage
  • if the employee is paid an annual salary, you will enter their annual salary

Performance Level

Even though this is a new employee, the system currently requires a performance level to be entered. You can either enter a 3 for "Meets Expectations" or an even a 0.
