# Creating a plan

#### Step 1

Click on   **Employees** in the main nav.

#### Step 2

Find the employee on the page, and click on their name. This will take you to the employee's home page.

#### Step 3

Click the **Create Performance Plan** button at the top of the employee's home page.

#### Step 4

Step up the plan's specifics:

1. **Important Dates** - fill out the plan's start date, end date, and final review date
2. **Section Weights** - here you can adjust the section weights that the plan has inherited from its template
3. **Feedback Sessions** - add dates that you would like to meet with your employee to discuss their progress on the plan, rather than ratings. You can choose to meet: 
     - Once mid-year
     - Once quarterly
     - Once monthly
     - No feedback sessions - just meet annually

#### Step 5

Click **Save Updates**
