# How to Customize Performance Review Section Titles

## In BalancedResults, performance reviews have historically offered four sections: Core Competencies, Objectives, Special Projects, and Training Modules. You now have the option to edit the titles of those sections to suit your organization’s needs.

- Company administrators, Supervisors, and Employees can all access BalancedResults.
- Only Company administrators can access the "Section Titles Override" page and rename Performance Review section titles.
- Overridden titles can be reset to their defaults as desired.
- Changes will not affect plans that have been fully completed.

1. In BalancedResults, click on **Settings** in the main nav. Then, select the **System Configurations** card.

2. Select **Section Title Overrides** from the System Configurations subnav.

3. On the Section Title Overrides page, click the **Edit** button.

4. Find the performance review section(s) you would like to rename.  
   Then, type that name into the **Overridden Title** field and an accompanying abbreviation into the **Overridden Abbreviation** field.

   \* *Overridden Abbreviations are used in column headers on various tables and reports.*
5. Once you have entered the overridden title and its corresponding overridden abbreviation, click **Save**.

6. Ta-da! Your new section titles and section title abbreviations will now be in use throughout your system on all templates and all uncompleted plans.
