How to Edit Special Projects en masse on Templates

It is now easier than ever to edit Special Projects on multiple or all Templates.


  1. In BalancedResults, click Templates, then click Special Projects. 1. SPs Edits Templates
  2. Using the search feature, type the name of the Special Project you want to edit. This will allow you to see all of the Templates with that Special Project.2. SPs Edits Templates
    You can also scroll through each Employee Plan to locate the Special Projects you wish to edit.
  3. Once you’ve located the Special Project you want to edit, you can update it on specific Templates by selecting the checkbox next to each one, or edit it en masse across all shown plans by clicking the Select All checkbox at the top of the table.

  4. Next, click the Actions button at the top of your screen. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Edit Special Projects. 4. SPs Edits Templates
  5. A modal titled “Mass Edit Special Projects” will appear. The orange disclaimer notes the number of Special Projects you have selected to edit and the number of Templates that will be affected.

    Title and Description fields are provided where you can type or paste new Special Project content. 

    To copy content from another Special Project: 
    1. Minimize the modal using the trigger in the top right corner, shown here:5. SPs Edits Templates
    2. Find the title/description you wish to use, then copy that text. 
    3. Reopen the modal by clicking the Mass Edit Special Projects button at the bottom center of your browser window.6. SPs Edits Templates
    4. Paste the content you copied into the appropriate field in the Mass Edit Special Projects modal.
  6. Once you have completed those steps, click Submit to apply those edits to the Special Projects you selected.7. SPs Edits Templates
