Learn how SSO can simplify user access, enhance security, and improve efficiency for your BalancedComp system.
What is SSO?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a secure and convenient authentication method that allows users to log into multiple systems using one set of login credentials. It simplifies the user experience by eliminating the need to remember multiple usernames and passwords and reduces security risks associated with managing multiple credentials.
Why You’re Likely Already Familiar with SSO
If your organization uses Microsoft Azure, you’re already using SSO for other applications. BalancedComp integrates seamlessly with these systems, enabling your team to extend their existing SSO functionality to access the BalancedComp platform.
Why Use SSO?
Implementing SSO offers several benefits:
-
Enhanced Security: Centralized authentication helps enforce stronger password policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
-
Streamlined User Experience: Users can access BalancedComp without needing to remember yet another password.
-
Simplified Administration: Reduces the burden on IT teams to manage and reset passwords.
SSO is a preferred login method for banks and credit unions because it combines convenience and enhanced security, ensuring a seamless experience for users while safeguarding sensitive financial data and meeting industry compliance requirements.
